Greenbelt Homes, Inc. (GHI) , is a not-for-profit housing cooperative of 1,600 homes in the "Old Greenbelt" neighborhood of Greenbelt, Maryland is seeking an experienced, professional Administrative Assistant/Receptionist.

 

The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist is the first and last point of contact to our members, residents and visitors.

 

Some of the essential functions of this awesome position include, but are not limited to:


• Greeting all visitors
• Answering phones
• Scheduling appointments
• Transcribing minutes
• Filing
• Volunteer Recruiting
• Data entry
• Composing letters and memorandums
• Maintaining calendars
• Other clerical duties as assigned.

 

Must be able to work evenings and weekends.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

 

Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures. Ability to use, with proficiency, various forms of office equipment and the maturity to deal effectively with the public and fellow employees. Must be able to use Access, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs software; YARDI experience highly desirable. Must be flexible to assist with clerical duties in other departments. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must have good time management skills and be self-directed. Must be able to handle multiple priorities. A high school diploma is required.
